Our Workshop
This is a small brand based in Singapore. There is no assembly line, no warehouse, no outsourced labour. When you order from Tauruscamp, your wallet is made by us for you, from start to finish.
Leather
We use premium full-grain, vegetable-tanned Italian leather, the same quality the big luxury houses use.
The difference is what happens after sourcing. A billion-dollar brand needs to protect margins across millions of units. They will optimise construction, cut costs wherever possible, and move fast. That's not a criticism, it's just how large-scale business works. We have no reason to do any of that. Our reputation rides on every piece we make.
Over time, this leather develops a rich patina, it darkens, softens, and becomes something entirely yours. It doesn't wear out. It wears in.
Original Design
The Base Wallet and the Grain Wallet are our first own creations, born from years of thinking about form, function, and material.
Most wallets are made from a single piece of leather, folded uniquely around itself, and secured with one line of saddle stitching at the bottom. That's what minimalism actually looks like when it's not just an aesthetic choice but a structural one.
You Work Directly With Us
There's no customer service department. You message our crafters, we reply. If you want something personalised, thread colour, a monogram, a specific finish, we talk about it and make it happen. That's the advantage of working with an independent maker.
It also means we are not producing hundreds of wallets a month. What we make is limited, not artificially, but because there are very few pairs of hands doing the work.
Why This Matters
You can buy a wallet anywhere. You can spend ten times the price on a luxury label and get something from a facility you'll never see, made by people you'll never meet, sold by a company that doesn't know you exist.
Or you can get one made by the person you're talking to right now. Same quality leather. Original design. Crafted individually. And made by someone who cares whether you're happy with it, because our name is on it.
Tauruscamp will always be a small workshop. That's not a limitation. That's the whole point.
